Sapphire Vehicles Services Limited is a commercial vehicle fleet management company with a service provision packaged to offer a clearly defined portfolio of support services to both new and existing companies.
Currently operating 16 Vehicle Maintenance Units throughout the UK, Sapphire supports customers from a variety of industries with the day-to-day running of their commercial vehicles.
We are now seeking a Parts Team Leader to join our Glengormley site.
As the Parts Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Managing, coaching, and motivating the parts team to deliver high-quality service
- Assisting customers and Technicians in identifying and sourcing the correct parts efficiently
- Liaising closely with the workshop to ensure parts availability for repairs and servicing
- Building strong relationships and delivering a first-class customer experience
- Monitoring and minimising costs within the parts department
- Monitoring department performance against agreed targets
- Driving internal and external parts sales growth
- Processing incoming and outgoing parts orders, ensuring stock accuracy and timely delivery
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel and parts systems
- Ensuring the parts department remains clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Handling internal and external customers and suppliers professionally, delivering the Mercedes-Benz Trucks experience
- Supporting wider business needs by undertaking additional duties where required
As the Parts Team Leader, you will have:
- Proven experience as a hands-on team leader
- Strong technical knowledge of Trucks, Trailers, and Vans
- Previous parts department experience, ideally within a main dealer environment
- A track record of delivering high standards of customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Good IT skills; experience with parts systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of dealer systems such as ADP Autoline (Kerridge/Keyloop) would be an advantage
- A willingness to learn, develop, and continuously improve product knowledge
- Enthusiasm for delivering the Mercedes-Benz Trucks experience

Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: DOE – £32,000 to £37,000 per annum
- Joining bonus: £2,000 (for candidates not introduced via agency)
