About the Role
Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs and making a lasting impact on their educational journey? We are looking for a motivated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team in Redhill, Surrey.
In this role, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to succeed both in and out of the classroom. You will provide tailored 1:1 support, deliver structured interventions, and collaborate with school staff, families, and local authority services to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of care and educational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings
- Deliver planned interventions to help pupils achieve their individual learning targets
- Adapt activities and resources to meet pupils' specific needs
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement with learning
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals
- Assist with monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards supporting individual needs
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous but not essential
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Pay: £95.00-£120.00 per day
