Job Summary
Due to expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice on a Thursday and Friday. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the SOE system.
- Ensure the clinical environment adheres to health and safety standards, including sterilisation protocols.
- Assist with infection control procedures to uphold hygiene standards within the practice.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Proven organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate digital records and managing appointment schedules.
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced setting. This role is ideal for individuals committed to delivering high-quality patient care while developing their expertise within dental nursing.
Pay: £14.63 per hour
