Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Chesterton, Newcastle under Lyme. This role is vital in ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment, supporting our commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative & reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Spot opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise systems
- Get involved in new equipment installation, development & commissioning
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
- Collaborate with on-site contractors and internal teams
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years’ electrical maintenance experience (ideally in manufacturing/industrial)
- Strong working knowledge of PLC systems
- Qualified to C&G (or equivalent) + 18th Edition IEE Regulations
- Basic mechanical skills & confidence with computer-based systems
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to support call-outs when needed
Working Arrangements
- 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.00 to 4.30pm - additional hours as may be required with flexibility to be on call out of hours.
- 25 days holiday entitlement plus 8 bank holidays.
