Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee care services within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in supervising care teams, and a commitment to delivering exceptional senior care. This role involves managing care plans, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained within our service user's homes. The successful applicant will play a vital role in coordinating daily operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with care standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support care staff to deliver high-quality senior care in accordance with individual care plans
- Oversee the implementation of care plans, ensuring personalised support is provided effectively
- Conduct regular spot checks and medication competencies and provide leadership to motivate staff and promote best practices
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development programmes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and industry standards
- Coordinate with management to plan staffing schedules and resource allocation
- Maintain accurate documentation related to client care, staff rotas, and incident reports
- Support clients’ needs through effective communication with families, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance service delivery
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a care environment or senior care setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
- Valid driving licence is essential for travel between service user's homes
- Knowledge of care plans, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation governing adult social care
- Competent IT skills to manage documentation, schedules, and communication tools effectively
- Experience working within a care home or community-based senior care environment is highly desirable
- Ability to organise workload efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
