Are you an experienced Primary Teacher looking for flexible supply work in Preston? Humly North West is recruiting confident teachers for day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term bookings across local primary schools.
This is a strong option if you enjoy variety, want control over your working week and can quickly settle into different school settings. You’ll be supporting schools with planned and last-minute cover, helping pupils stay focused and keeping learning on track.

Location: Preston
Pay Rate: £130-£160 per day, depending on experience and role
AWR Pay Rate: From week 13 in the same role with the same hirer, where applicable, £178.58-£232.57 per day, M2-M6
Schedule: Flexible, full-time and part-time supply available
Start Date: Ongoing
Role Type: Temporary supply, short-term cover and longer-term bookings
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be supporting local primary schools with:
- Day-to-day and short-term supply teaching
- Cover across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and keeping pupils engaged
- Managing classroom routines and behaviour confidently
- Supporting pupils with learning, progress and confidence
- Building relationships with schools for repeat bookings
You’ll Be a Good Fit If You…
- Have Qualified Teacher Status
- Have strong primary teaching experience
- Are confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Can adapt quickly to different school environments
- Have strong classroom management and clear routines
- Are reliable, professional and positive with pupils
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for one
- Are willing to complete Humly’s safeguarding and compliance process before placement
