We are supporting in the recruitment process for a Children's Registered Manager to shape and develop a new children's residential service from the ground up.
We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Registered Manager to lead a new 2-bed Children's Residential Home in Gloucestershire, supporting children and young people with a mixture of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD).
Support from the owners who bring over 20 years of experience in Health and Social Care, successfully delivering high-quality supported living and complex care services for adults.
The Role: As Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead the registration and ongoing management of the home in line with Ofsted regulations.
- Develop and maintain a safe, therapeutic, and child-centred environment.
- Recruit, lead, and develop a dedicated staff team.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, families, education providers, and healthcare professionals.
- Drive positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Oversee budgets, staffing, occupancy, and operational performance.
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual and senior leadership team to support the growth and success of the service.
About You: We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a Children's Residential Home, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step into registration.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and a Level 5 in Leadership & Management.
- A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's residential care standards.
- Experience supporting children with EBD, Learning Disabilities, or complex needs.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
