Some students join a Drama lesson because they love performing.
Others arrive with very little confidence and leave school as articulate, resilient young people who are comfortable presenting ideas, speaking in public, and expressing themselves.
That's what makes Drama such an important subject.
We're currently working with a highly regarded co-educational independent school in Coventry that is looking to appoint a Teacher of Drama from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school where the arts are genuinely valued, productions are a major part of school life, and students are encouraged to explore their creativity both inside and outside the classroom.

✔ Strong investment in Drama, Music, and the performing arts
✔ Small class sizes and engaged, motivated students
✔ Excellent facilities and performance opportunities

About the School
This successful independent school has built a reputation for offering students a genuinely well-rounded education.
Academic standards are high, but there is also a strong belief that students should leave school as confident, articulate, and well-balanced individuals. The arts play a significant role in that vision and are supported throughout the school.
One of the first things people notice when they visit is how involved students are in school life. Whether it's sport, music, drama, debating, or community projects, students are encouraged to participate and challenge themselves beyond the classroom.
The school has a welcoming and inclusive feel, with strong relationships between staff and students. Teachers are trusted as professionals, supported by approachable leaders, and given the freedom to bring their own personality and ideas into lessons.
Staff retention is excellent, which says a great deal about the culture that has been built over many years.
