Full-Time Rotational Post: Team Leader
Fraser Elite is looking for a committed Team Leader to join our team working on rotation (7am-10pm). This vital role within our organisation and the social care industry requires flexibility in delivering care as needed. We provide on-the-job training to equip you with the skills to manage carer and client queries effectively. Additionally, you will offer on-call services on a rotational basis, ensuring the highest standards of respect and care for all clients while maintaining their dignity at all times.
Role Responsibilities
- Adhering to practice policies, protocols, and guidelines.
- Providing shift cover as needed during working hours.
- Offering on-call cover when required.
- Reporting issues to senior management.
- Mentoring new inductees and supporting them during on-call duties and client runs.
- Performing duties assigned by senior line managers.
- Attending induction, in-house training sessions, and staff meetings.
- Managing and supporting workers to perform their roles safely and effectively.
- Conducting quality checks and client reviews.
- Handling day-to-day client inquiries.
- Acting as the first point of contact for carers.
- Monitoring and issuing PPE.
- Supporting senior line managers in compliance with standards and legislation.
- Serving as a positive role model for carers.
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure clients receive the necessary support and updating care plans accordingly.
Team Collaboration
- Working as a dependable and proactive team member, offering flexible and approachable support to colleagues.
- Taking part in the scheduled on-call rota system.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care setting is essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to meet workload demands.
- Commitment to professional development and participation in training opportunities.
- Registration with SSSC required upon successful application approval.
- Full driving licence and access to own car insured for business use is essential.
