Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Bike Rider to join our delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently delivering orders within the local area, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and timely deliveries. Duties
- Deliver orders promptly to customers' specified locations, adhering to scheduled times.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and with care to maintain product integrity.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent customer service throughout the delivery process.
- Follow safety guidelines and traffic regulations while riding to ensure personal safety and that of others.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the bicycle, reporting any issues or damages promptly.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including any special instructions from customers.
- Provide friendly assistance and answer basic questions from customers when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or delivery roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Good organisational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Ability to navigate using maps or GPS devices confidently within the local area.
- Physical fitness and stamina for cycling over extended periods and carrying light parcels.
- A valid bicycle licence or experience riding bicycles in urban environments is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: £105.00-£110.00 per day
