Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesSecurity Services Operations
- Manage the day to day operations of security contracts across the UK.
- Coordinate staffing, rostering, shift allocation, and emergency cover.
- Ensure all officers are fully vetted in line with BS7858 requirements and hold valid SIA licences.
- Monitor attendance, welfare checks, incident reporting, and escalation procedures.
- Support mobilisation of new contracts and client sites.
- Maintain high standards of service delivery and compliance with ACS requirements.
- Liaise with clients regarding operational updates, incidents, complaints, and service improvements.
- Conduct site visits, audits, inspections, and staff performance reviews.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of security personnel.
- Work closely with the control room team to ensure effective response management and communication.
- Assist with tender submissions, operational planning, and contract retention strategies.
Medical Reporting Organisation Operations
- Manage the daily operations of the Medical Reporting Organisation.
- Coordinate medical appointments and ensure instructions are processed efficiently.
- Liaise with medical experts, solicitors, agencies, and clients professionally.
- Ensure compliance with MedCo requirements, GDPR, and internal quality procedures.
- Monitor turnaround times, report quality, and operational performance.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of medical experts and administrative staff.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Support audit preparation and implementation of quality assurance procedures.
- Work closely with case management system providers and outsourced partners when required.
- Assist with business development and client relationship management.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain professional standards and represent the organisation positively at all times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across both business divisions.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and UK legislation.
- Prepare operational reports, KPI updates, and management summaries.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
- Be available for occasional out of hours operational support when required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in an Operations Manager or senior supervisory role.
- Experience within the security industry, healthcare administration, or medico legal sector preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital management systems.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make operational decisions confidently.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of SIA ACS standards and security industry compliance.
- Understanding of MedCo processes and medico legal operations.
- Experience managing teams across multiple locations.
- Experience in client relationship management and business development.
