This role is 21 hours per week. Shifts will be Monday to Friday AM and PM and Saturday mornings. Term time only.
We have routes available now and we also have September start dates. Please discuss at interview.

- Key Duties and Responsibilities
Record a daily walk around check of the vehicle; Making contact with parents or guardians where appropriate; Keeping passenger registers for all journeys; Ensuring that the vehicle is clean and tidy at all times; Complying with the Taunton School policies and procedures as well as external legislation; Ensuring pupils adhere to all Taunton School regulations throughout the journey; Operating the opening / closing of all doors and luggage compartments ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations; Ensuring that all pupils are met by their parent / guardian Drivers must disembark the vehicle to support the pupils with crossing the road, drivers are responsible for pupils crossing the road safely; Report and vehicle defects, faults, incidents and accidents; Refuel the vehicles as required; Maintain and help promote a good school image; Attend any relevant training courses as identified and agreed; Complying with all vehicle security regulations, School and DVLA rules and regulations.
