Occupational Health Technician
£30,000 - £35,000 DOE (Pro Rata)

12 month FTC working roughly 1-2 days per week
The Role of Occupational Health Technician:
Conduct a range of health assessments with employees to determine their current level of health in relation to their workplace exposures (shift pattern could include working weekends and night shifts - but flexibility around diary management given.)
- Undertake all forms or health assessment and surveillance, including but not limited to:
o Hearing and Vibration
o Substances that are hazardous to health (COSHH)
o Night working hours
o Managing drug and alcohol misuse at work
o Safety Critical workers
o New starter health assessment and screening
- Complete high quality health outcome reports
- Liaise regularly with Occupational Health Nurse Advisors, Health & Safety and Human Resources personnel
- Record and maintain data to GDPR/medical ethics standards
- Deliver and monitor the annual Health Surveillance Programme delivery
- Engagement and communication with customers using an online booking system
- Work alongside the relevant teams, to ensure baseline/HS and any outstanding tests are delivered
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
Health Sciences Background
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Accredited to provide audiometry and spirometry assessment
Full Driving Licence
Flexibility with regards to travel and hours worked
Desirable - Registered Nurse/Bsc OH
