Driver Trainer
We are looking to recruit an experienced Driver Trainer who will be based at our distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
This is a permanent full-time position where you will play a key role in developing, supporting and maintaining high driving standards across our Class 1 driver workforce. You will be responsible for delivering practical and classroom-based training, assessing driver competence and supporting the recruitment and development of new and existing drivers.
Pay, working hours & benefits:
We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22 and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. Flexibility will be required as training and assessments may occasionally take place across different shift patterns to support the operation.

As one of our Driver Trainers you will:
You will need:
- A full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement.
- A valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience as a Driver Trainer, Driver Assessor or in a similar driver development role (or significant operational Class 1 driving experience with a desire to move into training).
- Excellent knowledge of DVSA regulations, drivers' hours rules and road transport legislation.
- Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to build confidence and develop others.
- Good organisational and administration skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- A friendly, positive and professional approach to work.
