An exciting opportunity as arisen to work in our team to deliver support and assessments to rough sleepers or at risk of becoming rough sleeper.
This post will work directly with the service users on the streets to move them through a pathway of options into accommodation taking a specialist lead on engaging, assessing and signposting rough sleepers into treatment and other support services. The post holder will also work with those new to the streets and prevent them becoming entrenched.
The post holder will work in partnership with colleagues across several organisations dedicated to addressing and reducing rough sleeping. They will also be responsible for co-developing and monitoring support plans for service users on their caseload.
Ability to work flexible to meet the needs of the service over 7 days per week which will include evenings, early/late starts and weekends.
