Job Title: LiveSmart Manager
Location: West Sussex
Pay Rate: £24.00 per hour
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused LiveSmart Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a residential housing scheme, ensuring residents enjoy a safe, secure, and well-maintained living environment.
This role is ideal for someone with facilities, housing, or building management experience who enjoys working with residents and coordinating services to maintain high standards across the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as key-holder and ensure the security of the building and communal areas.
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents, contractors, and visitors.
- Coordinate contractor access for repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance works.
- Carry out regular inspections to identify maintenance, health & safety, and security issues.
- Raise repairs and facilitate access for contractors.
- Monitor communal facilities, including laundry rooms and shared spaces.
- Oversee cleaning standards and ensure communal areas remain welcoming and well maintained.
- Complete water hygiene testing and routine health & safety inspections.
- Carry out emergency lighting and fire safety equipment checks.
- Ensure actions arising from fire risk assessments are completed.
- Monitor accidents, incidents, and near misses in accordance with company procedures.
- Support residents with tenancy-related matters, including rent account queries and general housing advice.
- Manage gritting and winter maintenance arrangements where required.
- Provide cover at other schemes and support out-of-hours emergencies when necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in facilities management, housing management, building management, or a similar customer-facing environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal systems.
- Knowledge of health & safety requirements and building management processes.
- Understanding of housing services and working with older residents.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, equality, and diversity principles.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes (where required).
