The Role:
You don’t need to be experienced to join Intersafe as a PAT engineer as we will provide you with all the training necessary.
If you are looking for a typical 9-5 role, this really isn’t it. This is a physical role and we work with large commercial clients and sometimes that means that we may be required to work at times when business interruption is minimal. That may include working in evenings and sometimes at weekends.
Wherever possible we will ensure that our engineers are working within a reasonable travel distance from home, however, there are times when we may need to put you up in a hotel so that you are closer to the client site.
This position involves carrying out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) according to IEE guidelines, maintaining effective communication, working on your own or within a team, providing day to day management of client’s testing requirements, and completing reports and health and safety paperwork.
Requirements for the PAT Testing Engineer role:
- It is essential that applicants have a full and valid UK Driving License
- Good interpersonal skills to deliver high quality service levels to clients
- Open to flexible working hours (days and evenings)
- Happy to drive to different locations
- A can-do attitude to everyday challenges
- Disciplined and organised approach to work
- You will be a hard worker, motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
The Pay:
We offer a base salary of £23,795 with average earnings of circa up to £28,000 (base salary, bonus, overtime/weekends, and paid travel time) with realistic earning potential (Monday – Friday) of circa up to £26,500.
You will be given a company vehicle which is for business use only, and all the equipment that you need. You will also receive 28 days holiday (including statutory bank holidays), a defined contribution Pension, and additional earning potential through an employee referral scheme.
