We have an exciting new vacancy for a receptionist to join our team at Britannia Hotel in Birmingham. The Britannia Hotel Birmingham is a 214 bedroom-hotel which is ideally situated in the heart of the city and offers amazing transport links with all major train stations being within a few minutes’ walk.

Your duties will include:
- Welcoming guests and checking guests in and out on front of house system
- Advising guests and visitors about the facilities on site.
- Being the point of contact for our guests during their stay
- Answering the telephone, making reservations, taking payments, reconciling the shift and balancing floats.
The successful candidate will be organised, punctual and well presented, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous Front of House or customer facing experience would be advantageous. Experience using Opera Cloud PMS would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Please Note: Hours will be worked on a 7-day rota to meet the needs of the business.
