Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist with excavation, site preparation, and other earth-moving tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant experience to contribute to large-scale projects while developing their skills further.
Responsibilities
- Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently across various construction sites
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with site clearance, digging, trenching, and loading operations as required
- Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
Experience
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with commercial driving licences is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with site safety protocols and procedures
- Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects is preferred
