Semi Static Mechanical Engineer | £50,000 | Southall & Wakehurst
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a long-term, stable contract covering two commercial sites in Chiswick and Wakehurst.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and competent engineer looking for a secure role with strong overtime potential and progression opportunities.
The Role:
- Mobile mechanical maintenance across commercial sites
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Working across both commercial and domestic environments
- Supporting site operations as part of a 1 in 5 call-out rota
Package:
- Salary up to £50,000
- Company van, fuel card & uniform provided
- 45-hour working week (potential move to 40 hours)
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays
- £100 standby payment
Overtime Rates:
- Time & a half until midnight
- Double time after midnight
- Saturdays paid at time & a half
- Sundays paid at double time
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong experience across commercial and domestic environments
- Good fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
