Fastlane Autocare is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to support our busy workshop in St Helens.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong automotive parts experience and mechanical knowledge who can efficiently manage parts ordering, supplier relationships, and stock processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities – Parts Advisor
As a Parts Advisor, you will:
- Order vehicle parts accurately and efficiently for workshop requirements
- Source the best value parts, balancing price, quality, and availability
- Liaise with suppliers and manage supplier accounts
- Use systems such as Partslink24 to identify and order correct components
- Check in deliveries and ensure parts are correct and undamaged
- Manage and process returns in line with supplier procedures
- Maintain accurate records of parts orders and stock
- Support the workshop team with parts queries and availability
- Ensure your work area is organised and efficient
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor with:
Essential:
- Previous experience in automotive parts ordering
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and basic mechanical understanding
- Ability to source parts efficiently and cost-effectively
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
Desirable:
- Experience using Partslink24
- Previous experience in a garage, dealership, or motor factor environment
- Knowledge of supplier account management and returns processes
