Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Leisure Club Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our leisure facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas, including swimming pools, gyms, changing rooms, and communal spaces, are kept in pristine condition to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our members. Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained leisure centre while working in a dynamic team environment.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise all leisure centre areas, including pools, changing rooms, showers, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, and stains using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by regularly disinfecting high-touch areas such as door handles, handrails, and fitness equipment.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning roles is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to cleaning routines.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards members and colleagues.
- Physically fit with the ability to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is desirable but not essential.
