ACR is working with a global, market-leading business based in Bolton. We are recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join on a full-time, permanent basis. What will be expected of you:
- Allocate jobs to engineers, ensuring resources are utilised efficiently and cost-effectively
- Adjust engineer work schedules to accommodate changes in work plans
- Liaise and communicate with engineers on duties, travel, and updates to schedules
- Liaise and communicate with customers to confirm work plans, gather necessary information, and ensure excellent service
- Work closely with service and technical managers and other departments to ensure engineers have all necessary documentation for jobs
- Coordinate with suppliers of non-company engineers when required
- Escalate resource concerns to managers to enable proactive problem-solving and on-time completion of work
- Collaborate with the Service Administration team on finance issues where required
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a scheduling role would be beneficial
- High level of IT literacy, including MS Office with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with SAP or Salesforce scheduling/planning systems is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and face-to-face
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
- A calm, adaptable approach to managing multiple priorities
