The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years. You'll create engaging learning experiences while ensuring every child feels safe, happy and supported to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-led learning activities.
- Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Act as a Key Person, building positive relationships with children and families.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the nursery.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous nursery experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
