Overview
We are seeking an experienced Coach to join our gymnastics coaching team. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 and possess a passion for gymnastics and helping all children develop.
We would also accept a Level 1 with experience.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead coaching sessions, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the overall success of our clubs various pathways.
Duties
- Lead and deliver coaching sessions, ensuring high standards of training and athlete engagement.
- Develop session plans.
- Mentor and supervise junior coaches, providing guidance and support to enhance their coaching capabilities.
- Monitor athlete progress through regular assessments, and advising gymnasts moving to the next class up.
- Promote a positive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Organise training schedules, competitions, and workshops in collaboration with the management team.
- Record registers, assessments and gymnast groups within classes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all coaching activities.
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching.
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to communicate directly with management.
- Great organisational skills with the ability to manage different programs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating initiative and professionalism.
- Flexibility to adapt coaching methods based on individual athlete needs and evolving sporting standards.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
