Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists and ensure a high standard of patient care. Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
- Provide excellent patient care, offering reassurance and support throughout their visit.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Provide post-treatment advice and instructions to patients.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery, including sterilisation of equipment.
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence.
- Uphold health and safety standards in line with current regulations.
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with patients and team members.
- Knowledge of nursing principles applicable within a dental setting.
- Good IT skills for managing digital records and scheduling systems.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, dentists, and colleagues.
