Kitchen Extraction & Deep Cleaning Technician (TR19)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Kitchen Extraction & Deep Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This role involves carrying out TR19-compliant kitchen extraction and deep cleaning across a variety of commercial premises, including pubs, restaurants, schools, cafés, and care homes throughout the North West.
This position is suited to someone who already has experience within the kitchen extraction cleaning industry, understands TR19 standards, and can work confidently with minimal supervision. A fully equipped company van, specialist equipment, and complete toolkit will be provided to enable you to carry out your work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out TR19-compliant deep cleaning of commercial kitchen extraction systems, including hoods/canopies, filters, ductwork, fans, and associated equipment.
- Safely dismantle, clean, inspect, and reassemble extraction systems using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Identify maintenance issues or areas requiring further attention and report findings accurately.
- Complete all work to the highest standards of cleanliness, compliance, and safety.
- Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Deliver a professional and courteous service to clients at all times.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and industry best practices.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience carrying out TR19 kitchen extraction cleaning.
- Good understanding of TR19 standards and compliance requirements.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Preferred Qualifications
- BESA Grease Hygiene Technician (GHT) Certificate.
- Experience within commercial cleaning, ventilation hygiene, or a related industry.
Working Hours
- 30–40 hours per week
- Sunday to Thursday
- Flexible working hours to meet customer requirements, including early mornings & evenings.
