We are currently recruiting Social Care support Workers (Band 3 and 4) to join a waiting list for flexible and block-booked shifts throughout Northern Ireland. These include:
- Supported Living Services
- Trust-run Care Homes
- Social Work Assistant roles (Children’s & Adult Services)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care (bathing, hygiene, continence support)
- Promote dignity, independence, and respect for all service users
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Monitor and record observations, updating care records accurately
- Support service users with nutrition and daily living activities
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Work collaboratively to deliver person-centred care

Essential Criteria
- Minimum 6 months paid UK healthcare experience
- Must be resident in Northern Ireland
- Registered with NISCC (or willing to apply)
- Willingness to complete mandatory training and updates
- Ability to pass an Enhanced Access NI check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications & Experience (One Required)
- 4 GCSEs (A–C), including Maths & English + 2 years’ experience in care
- OR
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care + 1 year’s experience
OR
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant care settingAdditional Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (exceptions considered where applicable)
- Willingness to complete Therapeutic Intervention Training (e.g. Safety Intervention / PBS) within 3 months - when necessary
- NISCC registration (or application in progress) must be maintained
Desirable
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in Health & Social Care
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or behaviours that challenge

- We are currently recruiting for a waiting list for Band 4 Trust placements. However, you won't have to wait to start earning—we have immediate work available! Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in alternative care home roles until the perfect Band 4 position opens up.
- Sponsorship is not available for this role
- The waiting list may remain active for up to 12 months
