The Opportunity
- Role: English Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Degree Requirement: Hold or be predicted a degree in English, Linguistics, or a related subject (2:2 or above)
- Location: Witham, Essex
- Contract: Full-time, Monday – Friday | Term time only
- Salary: £480–£520 per week
- Duration: ASAP – July 2026
The Successful Graduate Must
- Have a genuine passion for English, reading, writing, and communication
- Be enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to supporting pupils’ learning
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be motivated to pursue a long-term career in teaching
- Work effectively independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Support English lessons and literacy interventions
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to boost reading, writing, and comprehension
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Help create engaging displays and resources to celebrate pupils’ progress
- Build practical classroom experience in preparation for teacher training
