Wollaton Care Homes, a 40 and 46 bedded homes are well-established residential care homes situated on Lambourne Drive in Wollaton.
We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our current teams.
The positions are for day and nights and will include alternate weekends.
Purpose of the Role:
· To provide care for the residents under the guidance of the Senior Care Assistants, Team Leaders and Home
· Ensure that all residents are treated with respect and dignity, and that the resident’s rights to privacy, dignity, independence and choice are met.
· Ensuring that the Company’s values of trust, respect and care are always maintained.
· To attend other staff meetings as required
Resident Focus:
· To act as a keyworker for a number of residents
· To assist the residents in personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting needs.
· Promptly respond to call bells
· To report any incidents or accidents immediately to a Senior member of staff
· To ensure that all residents are socially presentable in appearance at all times
· Recording resident information in the resident care notes as needed.
Knowledge skills and experience required;
· Excellent communication skills
- Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively on all levels and be a team player.
· Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards or equivalent
· Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a care setting
· Reliable

· Ability to work on your own initiative and with a team
