Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services will be considered advantageous. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a safe, tidy, and pleasant space for staff and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across various areas including lobbies, corridors, guest rooms, and communal spaces
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and products efficiently and safely
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work during scheduled shifts, which may include early mornings or evenings depending on operational needs
- A proactive approach towards maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
