Full time: Monday – Friday
Office Working Hours: 07:00am – 05:30pm
Out of Office Working: Sundays if and when required to cover routes.

What we are looking for:
An understanding individual to assist in the coordination and efficient running or our daily transport operations, for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN). Managing and ensuring safe, timely and compliant service delivery in line with local authority standards.
As a Transport Coordinator you will be expected to:
- Allocate drivers and passenger assistants to scheduled SEN routes.
- Monitor real-time service delivery, responding to delays, absences, or incidents.
- Ensure daily sheets are completed accurately
Communication & Liaison
- Act as first point of contact for parents/carers regarding transport queries.
- Liaise with schools, SENCOs, and local authority transport teams.
- Escalate concerns to the SEN Transport Manager as appropriate.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in SEN transport operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems quickly
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude towards change
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Be quick and eager to learn whilst being able to ask for help and assistance when needed
- Full enhanced DBS
Desirable Requirements
- Good geographical knowledge of London and the Southeast would be an advantage
