We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental practice. Training will be provided for those starting their journey in dental nursing, and all positions are paid.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments according to infection control protocols
- Provide pre- and post-treatment advice to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently
- Support patients with their queries and ensure a welcoming environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks as required, including organising supplies and maintaining cleanliness of the practice
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Basic understanding of nursing principles and practices
- Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients and team members
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Willingness to learn and develop within the dental healthcare environment
