Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and passionate Charity Development Worker to join local brain injury charity Headway Lincolnshire working predominantly from home covering Lincoln, West Lindsey and surrounding areas. You are required to have a full driving license.
You will be required to contribute to the delivery of Headway Lincolnshire’s hybrid support services for brain injury survivors and their families. This includes facilitating group sessions (online and in-person), providing wellbeing calls, supporting administrative functions, and representing the charity at clinics and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate online and in-person support groups and wellbeing telephone calls.
- Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager as agreed.
- Maintain accurate, and confidential records.
- Attend Brain Injury Rehabilitation Clinics at Lincoln County Hospital
- Support networking events, member activities, and fundraising initiatives. Engage with the local community.
- Ensure inclusive, respectful communication with all stakeholders.
- Provide cover during staff absence due to holidays or sickness.
- Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as required.
This is a role requiring travel, occasional evening work, and some weekend availability. The successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development support from the Operations Manager and will be subject to a probationary period of 24 weeks with performance reviews at 6, 12, and 20 weeks. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
