Trade Recruit is recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly respected and well-established electrical contractor, for a fully qualified, time-served Electrician to join their growing team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and professional Electrician who takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship, thrives across varied environments, and is confident making informed decisions on-site. You will play a key role in delivering quality installations while supporting and mentoring apprentices within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Working primarily across Wiltshire, with occasional projects further afield, your role will span domestic, commercial, and industrial environments, offering both variety and technical challenge.
- Carry out electrical installations to the highest professional standard
- Work independently and collaboratively within a skilled team
- Read, interpret, and implement technical drawings and specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults efficiently on-site
- Ensure full compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
- Mentor and support apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practice
- Maintain strong communication with clients and colleagues
- Take full ownership of projects from start to completion
This is a hands-on, responsible position suited to someone who can confidently manage their workload, make sound decisions, and always represent the company professionally.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking candidates who combine strong technical expertise with accountability, reliability, and professionalism.
Essential:
- Fully qualified, time-served Electrician
- Minimum 4–5 years’ industry experience
- Confident across domestic, commercial, and/or industrial installations
- Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for your work
Desirable:
- 2391/52 qualification (Inspection & Testing)
Candidates with strong experience in a specific sector will also be considered, provided they are willing to broaden their skill set.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- 8-hour working day with two 30-minute unpaid breaks
Salary & Benefits
- £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
