About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Café Assistant & Barista to join our busy, high-end café in the heart of Mayfair, London. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, has a passion for exceptional coffee and service, and takes pride in delivering a premium customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee, teas, and beverages to a consistently
high standard
● Deliver exceptional customer service and create a warm, welcoming experience for
guests
● Take customer orders efficiently and accurately using the POS system
● Assist with the preparation and presentation of fresh food and pastries
● Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation throughout
the café
● Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
● Restock products and monitor inventory levels during service
● Support opening and closing duties as required
● Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service during busy trading periods
Requirements
● Previous experience as a Barista or Café Assistant in a busy café, restaurant, or
hospitality venue preferred
● Passion for coffee, food, and outstanding customer service
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Professional appearance and positive attitude
● Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy service periods
● Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
● Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and varying shifts
