Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of our premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and facilities meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces according to company standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to protect oneself and colleagues
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, and folding linen or clothing
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when interacting with guests or visitors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and cleanliness protocols is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities
