We have a fantastic opportunity for a new NIGHT Controller to join our business. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, with different customers and companies, you will enjoy the role of Controller.
Your duties will include:
- receiving and despatching breakdown and recovery jobs to our team of Drivers and Roadside Technicians
- keeping the customer on the roadside informed of progress
- keeping the companies we work for updated
- problem solving in real time
- keeping our system updated
The model candidate would:
- Be able to provide quality customer service to our clients that include the AA, RAC, and West Midlands Police
- be able to communicate positively and assertively in what can sometimes be a busy commercial environment
- have basic computer skills and be willing to improve them
- have the ability to work under pressure during busy periods
- have a ‘can do’ attitude to the job
- ideally have previous Controller experience, full training will be given regardless
- ideally have a good sense of the geography of the West Midlands area
- ideally have a basic knowledge of how a car works, but not essential
Our business has been established for over 50 years and we are currently expanding our fleet and team due to increasing volumes of work. The position is a 4 on 4 off rolling rota that averages to 3.5 nights per week, with ample opportunity for overtime.

Pay: £30,200.00-£34,500.00 per year
