Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Part-time Delivery Driver 1.5 hours per day 11-12:30 PM. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food efficiently and safely to three locations Marylebone/South Kensington/Knightsbridge. This a temporary role commencing from 30th June to 28th August. Ideally every school holiday — (February, April, May, July, August, October and December duration varying from 1 to 6 weeks each holiday. There is an emphasis on punctuality and excellent service.
Duties
- Safely operate your own vehicle, ideally bike/motorcycle, adhering to all traffic laws
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time
- Ensure accurate delivery of orders to designated addresses within specified timeframes
- Obtain necessary proof of delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and routine checks of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any unforeseen delays
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and familiarity with traffic regulations
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to organise deliveries efficiently and adapt to changing schedules or routes
