We are seeking a dedicated In Store Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all store areas are kept spotless, welcoming, and safe for both customers and staff. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise all store surfaces, including floors, windows, display units, and restrooms to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and organise storage areas efficiently.
- Assist with additional store duties as required to support overall store operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in hygiene standards is advantageous.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential qualities for success in this role.
- Good organisational skills and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards are highly valued.
