Overview:
The EFI Manager is at the heart of the business and plays a key role in Four Square, with a focus on the Edinburgh Furniture Initiative delivering results, leading our retail shop and warehouse teams, delivering excellent customer service and efficient logistics planning you will lead the day-to-day planning and execution of the all the EFI tasks, ensuring effective use of resources.
You’ll lead and develop a team of three:
· Shop Supervisor
· Weekend Shop Supervisor
· Warehouse Supervisor
About the role:
The role is about providing a consistent service to the community of people who have always used the EFI and look for new opportunities grow and develop our business and team. You’ll report to our Director for Social Enterprise who will coach and support you to succeed in the role.
You’ll work with your team to:
· Deliver excellent customer service
· Achieve sales targets and KPIs
· Promote togetherness and be a good neighbour
· Secure an ongoing supply of donations
· Recruit, train and lead a diverse team
· Ensure health and safety & compliance is in place
· Promote the EFI on socials and in the local community
· Lead by example and make EFI a great place to work
· Promote circularity
Your key responsibilities will be:
· Work with Director of Social Enterprise to create a business plan to meet sales targets and KPIs.
· Build meaningful relationships with our external partnerships
· Ensure basic standards are in place across all areas of the EFI
· Run the social media accounts to engage and promote the business
· Work with a commercial calendar to attract customers and be market relevant
· Fulfil all till operations including cash handling and banking procedures
· Regular communication and team meetings
· Planning collections and delivery and ongoing stock levels
· Health and safety and Relevant standard procedures
· Ongoing team development and engagement
Preferred experience:
· Passionate about homelessness and Four Square
· Previous leadership experience
· Retail and shopfloor experience
· Interest in furniture, bric-a-brac and circularity
· Knowledge of logistics and / or warehousing
· Highly confidential and professional
· Effective communicator
· Strategic thinker comfortable working over a range of issues
· Proven experience in a similar role, or in significant elements of the role
· Experience of scheduling and rota management
· Experience of delivering KPIs

Pay: £37,850.00 per year
