Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
The SEND Enrichment and Engagement Officer will be responsible for leading learner enrichment and development for SEND learners across the College.
Day to day duties of the role

Coordinate the College's SEND enrichment programme - engaging SEND learners in the development of the offer to meet their needs.

Collaborate with and build positive links with local community groups and service providers to enhance the enrichment offer.

Involvement in and commitment to other learner engagement related tasks.
Required skills and qualifications

Experience of successfully engaging with young people and organising events / activities through a voluntary and / or paid role.

Ability to maintain an independent viewpoint, on behalf of the student body.

Articulate and able to communicate professionally with colleagues and other professionals at all levels, both internally and externally.

Ability to cope with a challenging and demanding workload making good use of resources to support task completion.
