Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Support Worker with a UK Driving Licence to provide dedicated support in a female shared property. The role focuses on promoting independence, maintaining daily routines, and supporting access to meaningful activities within the home and community.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care & Daily Living
- Provide dignified personal care when required, including support with washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration.
- Support with medication administration (if trained and authorised).
- Assist with light household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
Complex Needs Support
- Follow detailed care plans and risk assessments.
- Provide emotional reassurance and consistent, structured support.
- Respond calmly and safely to behaviours that may challenge.
- Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting concerns appropriately.
Community Access & Activities
- Support access to daily activities, appointments, hobbies, and social opportunities.
- Encourage engagement in meaningful activities that promote independence and wellbeing.
- Support the development of skills and confidence in everyday tasks.
Record Keeping & Safeguarding
- Maintain accurate daily records and communication logs.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
Requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs on a 1:1 basis.
- Experience providing personal care.
- Patient, empathetic, and professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and follow structured routines.
- Good communication and observational skills.

Pay: £13.00-£14.70 per hour
