Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House (FOH) Team Members to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen team
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any needs or concerns promptly
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, menus, and service stations
- Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations at all times
- Assist with setting up dining areas prior to service and clearing after closing shifts
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and food preparation standards
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and transactions accurately
- Experience in serving or bar work is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently during peak times
- Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial in understanding menu items and preparation processes
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales potential
