Sales Person Hemel Hempstead - Hertfordshire 42.5 hours/week (Mon-Fri)
Carkes 24/7 is a young and dynamic property maintenance, roofing & decorating company, offering both bespoke and response services to properties in London & home counties (roofing or decorating knowledge advantageous).
Due to continued growth we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sales Person at our location in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. Previous customer service is essential, sales and construction knowledge advantageous.
We are looking for a dynamic person to join and enhance our sales team at our Clarkes 24/7. You will be reviewing incoming enquiries, preparing, processing and estimate costs for private and commercial contracts as well as learning about our maintenance & renovation business.

The Opportunity
· Analyse clients BOQs and technical specifications
· Extract information from tender drawings including taking off quantities both manually and using IT software
· Collate quotations to calculate materials, equipment and labour costs
· Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
· Utilise several computing packages and online tendering portals
· Preparing and submitting compliant tenders to meet required deadlines
· Liaise with other departments to assist in the handover of projects
· Following up on tender submissions
· Lead generation/Lead sourcing
The Person
· Excellent knowledge and proven track record of a customer service role in any field
· Previous sales experience preferable, although job training can be provided
· Good awareness of tendering and the estimating process
· A high level of IT proficiency, particularly with Google sheets
· Proactive with good people skills
· Excellent numerical skills
· Be able to professionally communicate at all levels
· Strong organisational skills
· The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
· A full driving licence is preferable
