New Directions Liverpool is seeking trainee teaching assistants to work in both mainstream primary schools and special educational needs (SEN) schools based in South Liverpool. In this role, you will provide essential support to children with a range of challenging behavioural issues and severe learning difficulties, helping them thrive in their educational environment. The Role
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- Support pupils in accessing a personalised curriculum tailored to their individual needs
The Ideal Candidate
- A background within Care sector or child like environment
- Is confident in managing challenging behaviour in a patient and proactive manner
- Demonstrates resilience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils
Requirements
- References covering the last 5 years
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A dedicated and expert Account Manager
