Reach Recruitment are currently looking for Dispatch/Warehouse Operatives for Cranswick Preston in HU12.
We have several opportunities available for experienced Dispatch/Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Working hours & Pay rates:
4 on 4 off - 5am to 5pm - Day Shift £13.00 per hour
4 on 4 off - 5pm to 5am - Night Shift £15.60 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick product orders accurately using hand scanners, meeting daily targets.
- Load and unload deliveries using pallet trucks.
- Report shortages or overstock to the management team.
- Maintain quality and traceability of all products.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Comply with Health & Safety requirements, Food Safety legislation, and company quality standards.
Requirements:
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Good literacy and numeracy (English and Maths).
- Previous dispatch experience – ideally within a food production environment.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Familiarity with warehouse systems, processes, and procedures.
- Flexible approach to duties and working hours.
- Awareness of KPIs.
- Comfortable working in a chilled meat production environment.
