Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Swimming Teacher to join our team in Woking. Based at one of our vibrant leisure centers in GB, this role is vital in delivering high-quality swimming lessons that support our mission to promote active lifestyles within the community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging swimming lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during swimming sessions.
- Assess swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation.
- Maintain equipment and ensure the cleanliness of the swimming area.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Support the development of new swim programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Qualifications
- Relevant swimming instructor certification (e.g., ASA/STA/Swim England qualification).
- Proven experience in teaching swimming to various age groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to swimming pools.
- Enthusiasm for promoting active lifestyles.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- First aid certification is desirable.
