Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Curtain & Roman Blind Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality Curtains and Roman Blind tailored to our clients' specifications. Duties
- Measure and interpret client specifications accurately to produce customised curtains.
- Cut fabric according to precise measurements, ensuring minimal wastage.
- Sew and assemble curtain panels, pelmets, and other related items using various sewing techniques.
- Attach fittings such as hooks, rings, and pleats to ensure proper functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Collaborate with clients or designers to make adjustments and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including fabric storage areas and sewing stations.
- Keep detailed records of orders, measurements, and materials used for each project.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is desirable, particularly within a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in sewing is essential; experience with different fabrics and sewing machines is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and techniques used in bespoke curtain making.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure precise craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
