About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operational Support Manager / Turnaround Manager to join our team in a key leadership capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in service improvement, operational turnaround, and quality enhancement work within a healthcare or care environment.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting services where vacancies arise, providing hands-on operational leadership, driving performance improvement, and contributing to quality assurance and service development initiatives.
The role is line managed by the Director of Clinical and Quality, offering strong senior-level visibility and influence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership and turnaround support across services in need of improvement
- Work closely with service managers and teams to stabilise performance and embed sustainable improvements
- Lead and support quality improvement initiatives across operational areas
- Assist in maintaining service continuity during periods of staffing vacancies
- Identify risks, escalate appropriately, and implement action plans to address service challenges
- Support compliance with regulatory and organisational standards
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care delivery
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in operational management within health or social care (or a regulated care environment)
- Confident working in turnaround, transformation, or quality improvement roles
- Strong in leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement
- Able to work flexibly across multiple sites within the Yorkshire and Derbyshire region
- Proactive, resilient, and solution-focused under pressure
- Knowledgeable of regulatory standards and quality frameworks
